North Bar, Leeds, invited artists to take part in a fund-raising exhibition where the artist could choose a TinTin comic cover as inspiration for their artwork, which would then go onto the walls of the pub.

 

This is my version of TinTin and the Picaros, which I chose so that I could incorporate (a version of) the lovely graphic imagery of the Mexican tribes. Chichen Itza does seem to keep cropping up in my work!

 

There are some cheeky TinTin references in the border...
