With a brief of “We want three brewery murals, and one of them must have hops!”, Katie of Nomadic Beers and I came up with the idea of some friendly hop bines – Hoplets – a giant logo, and a group shot of the brewery team, including Katie, Ross, Marv the Small Dog and Geegee the Delivery Van.

 

Using a limited colour palette based on their distinctive van colour and natural buff of their branding, I went to work. I’ve never had so much fun in a brewery, and it wasn’t even brewing yet!

 

Local paint enterprise Seagull Paints and neighbourly workshop Leeds Hackspace did the paint-mixing and equipment-lending honours.
