Christine Jopling is a Yorkshire based illustrator, renowned for her wobbly-lined ink and watercolour style, but more increasingly for boldly coloured graphic canvases.

Inspired by Bob Godfrey, Ronald Searle and Quentin Blake, but also by sweetie wrappers, nightclub flyers and 1970s album covers, her work combines an eye for detail and a gentle humour.

Subjects include anything from beloved British birds to beer bottles and farmyard animals to aliens, reflecting a love of the landscape and revealing a bit of an active imagination.
